This repair came about because Mrs. B's front porch was leaking. After inspection of the front porch it was found to have some holes in the seams of the flat roofing. Several options were given including fully replacing the porch roof. That was considered but Mrs. B wanted to try and do a repair first to see if it would take before going into a full replacement.
The repair consisted of taking roofing chalk sealing the holes then applying Ice and water shield over the holes to patch the gaps in between the seams. Ice and water shield is a doubled sided adhesive underlayment that can be used in repair situations to prevent water from gaining access under the roof. The repair might not totally match but it is an area of the house where you would only see it if you were standing on the porch. Since this porch is purely decorative and can not be accessed from the house, this repair was exactly what Mrs. B was looking for.
