Very good pricing on entire project. Offered same quality materials and warranty as other roofing companies at a better value. Mathew was easy to work with and very responsive. We did have a small issue with placement of ridge vents but Mathew made it right by offering a small discount. Overall very pleased with the final results.

This roof was replaced due to an insurance claim due to wind damage. This roof was replaced with a 30 year Owens Corning Shingle, color estate gray. This replacement took 3 days to complete due to the steep pitch and the size of the roof.
This roof replacement came about because the previous 3-tab shingles kept blowing off. The homeowners decide to upgrade to a new Owens Croning Oakridge Trudef driftwood shingle that is rated for 110 mph. Where the previous 3 tab shingles were only rated for 60 mph. The ventilation was also upgraded as well, the old turbines were removed and decked over. There was a ridge vent installed to help better ventilate the house which gives the roof a longer life. This replacement took one full day for both removal and install.
After a recent hail storm Mrs. S called into the office to have a roof inspection. Upon the roof inspection there was enough hail damage to warrant filling an insurance claim. Since we were contacted before the insurance company, we were able to be present when the insurance adjuster came for his adjustment. This helped to come to an agreement on scope of work quickly, as well as a price. This was a very large project took one entire week to complete. But since we were able to meet with the insurance company up front the claim was closed very shortly after completion of work. The homeowners only out of pocket cost through the entire process was just the insurance deductible.

The roof had reached almost the end of its usable life, so the homeowner decided to go ahead and replaced the entire thing. It took a full 4 days to complete. There were about 80 osb boards of decking that had to be replaced, as the section with two layers and serious damaged to the decking underneath. This Murfreesboro new roof construction project came about as part of a home remodel. The client's old roof was a 3-tab shingle and about 2/3 of the way through its usable life. We improved upon the existing by installing a new ridge vent over the old power vent.
During the install, we noticed that the chimney was lacking a cricket and that there was an existing leak from a pipe boot. We replaced two pieces of decking where the leak had been; a new pipe boot and installed a boot shield which improves the roof's life span. We only work with quality products and was proud to fit the roof using Certainteed Landmark shingles, in the attractive Charcoal Black finish you see. The project took only 2 full days to complete.

A tree falling on the house leads Mr & Mrs. S to a full roof and gutter replacement. Last spring a storm had a large tree fall on this home in Brentwood. After contacting their insurance company and having an insurance adjuster out. Mr. & Mrs. S called Jewell roofing for a quote on the roof and gutters. After an inspection of the roof Mathew came to find there was more damage than the insurance company had originally estimated for. Having worked with hundreds of insurance companies in his 5 years in roofing Mathew knew the owners could call for a second inspection since they had no contractor present at the first insurance adjustment. As a service Jewell provides our sales mangers will meet with homeowners insurance adjuster to help ensure they get the best claim possible. After a seconded adjustment with Mathew present the insurance company increased the original estimate, lessening the homeowners out of pocket expense. Since the half of the roof had to be repaired and a large portion of the gutters replaced. It was going to be hard to match what was existing since the roof was over 10 years old. Mathew was able to work with Mr & Mrs. S to come within their budget to fully replace both the entire roof and the entire gutter system over a course of a days. There was decking that needed to be replaced, new vents were installed upon homeowner request, the gutters where a close match to the previous existing color. The single that was used is a Malarkey Highlander Scotchgard Natural Wood.

This shingle comes with a 110 wind rating and comes with a 10 year Jewell workmanship warranty.
This project came about because of an F1 tornado that hit the Brentwood area March 1, 2017. The homeowner called Jewell Roofing for a free roof inspection. There was enough damage to the roof and other parts of the home to warrant filling an insurance claim. Mat Sublett was on sight when the insurance adjuster came to do his assessment of the property damage. Original this was written up for a replacement of a few missing shingles. While trying to match the shingles, it was discovered the shingles were no longer made, making a matching repair impossible. After a several weeks of talking with the insurance company and another adjustment by the insurance company a full replacement was paid for. Taking on and off the roof was much easier. The project took two full days to complete and the newly installed shingle is a Certainteed Landmark Pewter. The new roof has a wind rating of 110 mph, as with all Jewell Roof full replacements it comes with a 10 year workmanship warranty.
